The Door
The Door is a performance about love, desire, and enforced separation due to immigration policies in the United States. For almost two years, my fiancé and I have lived apart from each other, he in the States and I in Spain. This performance portrays the destruction caused to us by a decision that an immigration officer made in a few minutes.
